This blog is structured into three sections and in each section the schools are listed in alphabetical order, and you can jump to these sections using the linked words below. They include:
- Grammar Schools where you will need to have the SEAG result to apply for a place
- Bilateral Schools which have both a grammar intake and a mixed ability stream
- High Schools
Also, when you see the eyes emoji 👀, this is marker that a parent has shared the open night details with me but I haven’t seen this confirmed in writing from, for example, a flyer from the school on social media or website. However as time passes and these are confirmed, I will remove the eyes but in the meantime this is just something to be aware of as you collect your key dates.

The Transfer Tutor App is an online site dedicated to providing fun and interactive quizzes aligned directly to the SEAG specification. All quizzes are broken down into manageable topics and can be done on any mobile or tablet device, so it’s an great way for kids to learn and prepare for the test.

How To Buy
All normal licences are a simple, one-off payment (except the monthly subscription of course) and they can be purchased in confidence through a normal PayPal account or using a normal bank card and the Guest option.
Licences are purchased depending on the length of time required and as additional years are only charged at £15 per year, it’s worth considering a longer licence if you have a younger sibling.
